Village Upholstery, a local business, was recommended by a neighbour. Paul replied promptly with a quotation (he was on holiday at the time) and gave some info on legal requirements re fire-proofing. We supplied our chosen fabric to cover 2 carver chairs and 2 other chairs to be recovered. We had a birthday celebration coming up and he was able to schedule the work in for us. The quality of his work was first-class and it was completed on time and at the estimated price, despite some extra carpentry work he undertook on the carvers. The level of service was very good. He is very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

We had an old chair re-upholstered by Village Upholstery. I cannot fault the process from beginning to end. We were supplied with lots of sample books to choose from, then samples were sent to our house to further make our final choice. The finished chair looks amazing and the workmanship is second to none. Would fully recommend to anyone wishing to re-upholster an old piece of furniture, it is like a brand new chair. Paul did the most brilliant job on 2 very unloved Victorian dining chairs I had that had some gross torn loose covers. Now looking fabulous and new lease of life 👍

Highly recommend this craftsman. Had a good selection of fabrics, not the cheapest but not the most expensive and he did a superb job on my two wing back chairs. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
